GEE35FX's Route 66 Road Trip

Thanks Oscar, I have had very little good wifi service for the last few days in the Grand Canyon area. We have had a fantastic time in Sedona and thr Grand Canyon, lots of good pics.
I'm hoping to meet up with PorknBeans in the next couple of days.

Damn i was at the grand canyon couple days ago. would of been epic to meetup there for the first time then in Ontario :P. enjoy your trip!

ahh snap. i was at the canyon Monday and the valley of fire Wednesday. They got some awesome tours there if your hanging around that area looking for something to do. Atving, kayaking, gold mine tour (tour company http://www.awesomeadventureguide.com). If you do decide ask for Brandon as your tour guide!

Btw loving this thread. This is on my to do list. Drop everything and just cruise the states!

Karen and I made a 3 day side trip to Sedona, Az and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. These places are highly recommended.

A couple of pics from Sedona.

Here are a couple pics from our trip today on Route 66. There are wild Burros running around the countryside and you have to be careful you don't hit one. Thes burros are first seen in the town of Oatman, Az and then west of Oatman in the wild.

This particular one seemed to like my FX. I had to put my window up, I didn't want him drooling on my interior.

Karen and I had another great day today. We travelled on old Route 66 from Barstow to Victorville (just before San Bernadino) We met some great characters on the route.

The highlight for today was meeting another great IS member "porkandbeans". Karen and I enjoyed a nice visit with him, and seriously his 2003 Laser Red FX45 is one clean unit, it is immaculate.
We left with a couple bottles of nice wine with personalized labels, love the labels, thanks porkandbeans :smile (2):

Here are a few pics.

^^Yes, those labels were amazing.

I also forgot to mention that later in the afternoon I stopped in Monrovia at Metro Infiniti and I got to meet metrocheryl, another IS member. We enjoyed a quick visit with Cheryl and she helped us with accommodation in the area for the night. My Fx was also due for it's oil change so they worked me in and got that done for me.
