GB - New CREE DTRL bulbs available

Remind me to check out these bulbs tomorrow. It'll be darker out too so hopefully I can see them in full effect.
 
Nice guys but they will not win a foot race in marketing and sales :wink: Just received an email that we will receive pricing tomorrow for 10, 20, 30 and 40 sets. My return email to Luis was that the 10 and 20 set order deal had passed and we are looking at pricing on 40 sets and above.

You should order all the bulbs and have them sent to your house. Then tell your wife you're quiting to sell CREE DTRL light bulbs for a living.
 
try to see the price for 50 lol because there will definitely be 2nd set buyers lol

Hah! She asked this weekend how much I have into the FX.....If I ever want to do the CAMS I may have to sell CREE bulbs :wink:

What, she didnt' fall for "those head lights? They come stock from Infiniti. They were changed because there was a recall."
 
I'm one of the Acura people.

What are the socket sizes for these? I've read through and seen 7443 and 7440 mentioned. The Acura TL (I think most of the Acurazine people have this car) uses 9005 or 9006 bulbs for the DTRL. I didn't see either one of these in the CREE on the JLC Lighting website.

Our reverse bulbs are 921 and these I did see.

The car in the video where the bulbs are being displayed is a Acura TL. I am sure JLC has made bulbs for our 9005 bulbs.

Whoever is in charge of this GB...was it the OP? Tell JLC 20 sets of 9005 bulbs.
 
Confused about all these Acura people. Anyway, doesn't matter as more the merrier.
 
^^ yea i figured since they were shown on a TL they would have them for us, can you guys confirm if we can still get in on this with a different bulb then you guys?

LOGAN is the one wheeling and dealing, hopefully he'll chime in soon. I don't see why not unless it cost more/less to produce.

9005 bulb?

If that's possible, you FXers that don't want to put a HID kit in the fog lights should get the 9006 bulbs if they make them too.

(H8 bulb for you 2006-2008 guys).

Yeah for us Acura guys the DRL are 9005 bulbs. So we would need those.

The group rate should NOT change because of the different bulbs. On the BMW forum I was involved in a HID kit group buy for my fogs a few weeks ago. The 3/5/7 had different fogs but the vendor made the price the same. I ordered H8 fogs for my 5 series while the 3 series folks were getting H11....but the price was the same.
 
Where is lance when you need him? Must be stuck in the famous Seattle traffic

That's right, I forgot about the video with the TL. To further complicate matters, I actually have an 04 and use the OEM fogs as DTRLs (9006). If they aren't available, I can mod the 9005 to fit. I'm also interested in 921s for reverse lights.

Are you testing these bulbs currently and they went off? Or am I just being stupid and failing to comprehend what your saying. LOL.
