GB - New CREE DTRL bulbs available

i actually bought a 6 led full set for the fx when i first met luis at jlc about a month ago and currently installed with no problems. these are smd leds that have been out for awhile, unlike the cree for dtrl.
 
the 6 smd led lights retail for $16 a pair, but luis gave me a discount since i was buying a package. i also suggest maybe he can do an interior package deal in the future.
 
mtbfx- Have you inspected the headlight outter plastic trim if it gets really hot, while the dtrls are running?
 
Finally, I have two working 921 reverse leds. The new ones are longer than the original.

New one on the right:

Also noticed that the two new ones (two on the right) have a different shaped base(non metal part)..

The middle one has a slightly fatter base, which makes it feel like it will pop out of the socket... The right one fits perfectly.

I will have better pics later or a vid. I am also not putting my trunk panel back on for a week or so...just in case.

i got to about 10 mins keeping the dtrl on. i have to keep opening the door since it auto-off a few times. no heat at all on the lamp housing, i thought there should be a little bit. was the previous one very hot?
 
I didn't noticed the old version getting hot, at least my reverse one. However, the oem bulb did get very hot very quick.
 
JLCLighting, since the new bulbs are going to be ready soon you can disregard my paypal request for a refund. Also, would like to purchase your kit, surely you guy will give us a GB on that as well?
 
Luis - Can you give us a breakdown of what the kit contains - What bulb specs and where do they go in the cabin? Also, 1st gen vs 2nd gen, is there a difference?
 
hey guys, stopping by for a quick reply. I won't be in the office til Monday. I will have all the necessary information by Monday (Interior Kit bulbs, pricing, pictures, DTRL bulbs, pictures, etc). Thank you all!
 
Hey guys, sorry for the late reply.

Update on DTRL bulbs, should be ready to be sent out by this Friday. I will double check the list of the items sent out vs. the list of refunds already processed. Then I will go ahead and update the list onto this thread for everyone to see and determine what they want me to do (whether to send out the replacement or issue a refund).

As for the LED interior lights, I am going to create another GB thread and link it here. Thanks guys!

JLC, can you send a prepaid return label with the new bulbs, so i can send the unopened old cree bulbs for exchange..
I dont want to deal with all that shipping stuff, Thanks

Man there are so many replies with different wants and needs you're going to have a hard time sorting it out Luis. I thought this might help. Put your username and what wether you got the refund for old bulbs or not.
