Gates new XF micro v-belts

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to find out if anyone has installed or can purchase the new GATES micro XF v-belt for their engine. Heard from a couple of 350z members that it is only available un Europe. My v-belt on my stillen blower setup didn't last very long and a small crack is appering at the top so it's time to change..XF means Xtra Force and is more than twice as strong and durable than the normal 6 rib V-Belts and esprcially as thay have supercharged cars..They have also noticed a great difference with performance and so far no cracks or anything after a year or so.

Maybe a good investment for us FX's with superchargers.

Any info would be great.

Check Amazon.com. I bought the regular gates, but there were options for me to buy their Gates Blue Racing Micro-V Belt.

The Blue Racing line is more expensive and stronger than the regular gates belts.

Stillen uses regular gates belts for their superchargers as a FYI.
 
I have the blue belts, they seem to stretch a lot. The old stillen belt config was 4 rib I think, what someone said they did was split an 8 rib belt. They newer stillens are either 6 or 8 rib can't remember.

Thanx buddy, So the blue line belts are better. So u haven't heard anything about the new gates XF Micro V-Belts or would they be the same as the Blue racing line gates?

Hi Rookie, Do u know the size/lenght of the racing line belt for my Stillen supercharged Fx35.
When u say they seem to stretch..Is that a bad thing...slipping..etc or not

Also the guy who split an 8 rib..Was the belt the Gates Blue line racing one?

Waiting for ur answer as i need to order the belts. Thanx

Hi buddy, Thanx so is it also the same 22 inch If i want to get the Gates blue line racing belt and can I go for an 8 rib as like I said my gates Micro v-belt 6 rib hasn't lasted more than 8 months or stick with the 6 rib..Please if possible can you tell me the part number of the Gates blue line racing V-Belt that I need as I can't find them also here in Taiwan so i think I must order from the states..Would it be possible for u to send to me here in Taiwan and I can pay you throught PAYPAL..Any chance?

Does anyone know(Prob Rookie) the exact part number for the Gates Blue line racing 6 rib micro V-Belt that I need to fit my stillen blower..on my 05 FX35..I heard from another member that the original belt with the stillen is 22inch..and as my present gates 6 rib V-Belt is cracking I need to upgrade to the Gates racing line which I have heard are far superior..

Urgently waiting for answers...Thanx alot and drive safely.

This is what I could find out for you. Three belts and this is specific to the Stage 4 kit:
1) Alternator, Crank, and Power Steering = Stillen Part Number 407350-127 $35.02
2) Supercharger = Stillen Part Number 407350-19-16, 22" 6 rib $18.75
3) Accessories = Stillen Part Number 407350-22, $28.92

E-mail cmora@stillen.com to order.

He knows they use "Gates", but he does not know what brand they are.

He didn't know what Gates Blue line number, I would just find a 22" belt that fits.

He's a good sales rep. He's my go-to guy when I buy stuff from Stillen, he's been there for a while. I don't know him personally.

Sorry, no idea. Three belts total he said.

I don't have the supercharger so really have no knowledge of it.
