Gas Premium or Regular?

Standard premium were i live is 93. Sunoco has some good gas and there is one sunoco that is on the way to PBIR (race track) that offer 112 its about $7.00 a gallon my dad runs it in his 11.5:1 compression big block vette

Sunoco Ultra use to be known as Ultra94 here on the east coast. I use to fill up on 94 octane when I could. Then they cheaped out and downgraded their Ultra to 93.

I know that my 2008 45 says Premium required. Not sure if they changed it somewhere down the line.

91 octane only in San Bernardino area?

I have not found any stations that sell higher than 91 in Big Bear or San Bernardino Area. Even at Shell Iv'e only been able to find 91. I checked the Sunoco website and there are none in my area either.Anyone know of any stations in my area
(San Bernardino,Victorville,Redalands etc...) that carry higher than 91?

What octane# to put in the FX shouldn't even be a question... 91 and up.. By using the best fuel you avoid future fuel system problem.and better fuel equal better milage..

And even tho you use 91+ octane make sure you run a fuel system/injector cleaner ever 2 months..

Pat, I used 87 for a while back when gas prices were higher. Never noticed any issues, and I ran the hell out of it. Another good testimony is that I'm pretty sure before I ran the 1/4 I switched over to 93 only a tank or two before, and I ran a great time. Also, what is MLIA? I just saw that somewhere else.
I ran the lower octane as well during 5+ a gallon times and had a drop in fuel milage and a loss of power. Took it to the dealer and they said I needed a fuel system service for 175.00 so Instead I added some fuel system cleaner for next 4 tanks and everything got better. Now every oil change I run some injector cleaner and only run premium.

not sure how good this stuff is or if the price is good, but, jegs is running a special...
$5 for fuel system cleaner 775-12203
$4 for injector cleaner 775-12103

edit: is this stuff any good? any opinions? i might pick up a couple of each if it ain't bad.
