I'm currently at 14.8 MPG city. When I first got my 35, it was reading at 13.4 (which was last Friday). I recently switched out to an K&N filter also.

well bro! you can maybe get that mileage with stock parts, after you get mods, headers, cold intake, exhaust system, don't even think to get the same results.

$50 is nothing, i was pulling in $80-$100 week, that was when i was doing non-sense driving, i smarten up and now i'm saving some cash, its just so hard when your baby is clean and you just want to cruise you know
with all your upgrades, just wanted to know wat ur gettn on MPG??

damn, I'm going almost $100 a week in gas now :err: averaging a little less than 15 mpg
man, you don't realize how expensive gas really is until you go pump gas into a gallon antifreeze container & can fit almost $5.00 worth of gas in it.... damn, seems like it wasn't too long ago it would take $1.25 to fill that..., well, guess that was kinda long ago too... now I feel like my parents when they used to say "oh, I remember when a cup of coffee was .15 cents"

I get about 18 to 20 mpg. As much as I love driving my FX it's hard to keep driving by the gas station and seeing th prices keep going up. What really sucks for me is when i go out driving around Guam I got this stop and go traffic and it sometime can take 30 to 45 min to drive 30 miles. i can't wait to bring my baby to the states to see what she can really do.

just got my FX last month, how many others out here upgrading there FX's, we should meet and check out each others rides sometime...
As far as I know just yours and mine. There was one guy that got me started a year ago but he left the island and went back to the states. There are alot of FX's out here but alot of them are stock. I work up at AAFB. I drive the FX that is rail less and has a flag in the dash.
Kool ya dont see too much FX enthusiast's out here. mine is the silver one wit the drop but all stock for right now. trying to work on rims and tires next.

Yep, he left and that was the only FX on island that had a lot of work done too it. I took it for a test drive one day, before all the additions, and I went hunting for mine. Probably the best car I ever bought. It's just too bad I don't have his for inspiration to do more work to mine. I'm really just waiting till I get back to the states to do some more work; prices out here are crazy especially for shipping.

Sounds like you do a lot of short distance driving. I see those kind of numbers too, with a 2 mile drive to the office. HWY cruising should be in the averages that Infiniti quotes.

when i first bought my FX35 i think i averaged it at like 17 mpg, the obc pretty much matched that. then i realized the dealer had like 18 psi of pressure in the tires. i aired it up to about 40 psi. the last road trip a went on, about 200 miles, the obc calculated 25 mpg with flashes of 26. i havent averaged a tank full yet but it certainly felt like 25 mpg. i used alittle over 1/4 of gas during the whole trip. BB
