Garmin GVN-53 - Where is it?

Hi guys/gals,
I'm looking for the base unit of the Garmin GVN-53 nav system in my '08 FX35. Pretty much looked everywhere, but i can't find the base unit. I need to get my hands on it to upgrade the software and maps.

Anyone have a clue where i might spot it? I've already checked following locations:
- Under seats front and back
- Cavities in the footwell driver and passenger side
- Dashboard cover under the glovebox passenger side
- Behind center console facing (AC/radio controls), but not deeper
- Console under center arm rest front (where the entertainment system resides with the according package)

Any hint will be welcome!

Tried that, i opened the armrest console backside, but besides the 12V socket it is empty... :( Thanks anyway
 
Are you talking about the actual nav unit where the DVD drive is? it is under the front passenger seat, only accessible from the back seat foot well behind a plastic cover.

It was hidden behind the LCD screen, straight under the center dashboard speaker.
MMC card in, system and cards updated, done! :good:
So this can be closed, problem solved.
