You can't compare EVO products to FX35 products. Mitsubishi is a different brand from Infiniti. Stuff will always be more expensive. If you're not going to keep it, cut open the muffler. I'm interested in what the inside looks like.

Airflow on mine seems about even. As for the temp - I aint touching that sh*t while its hot so your on your own on that one.

I remember reading about other exhaust that did the same thing.

Z -tec (spelling?), not really sure on the name, but members reported the same thing, one side had more flow than the other side.

It may be true that the muffler "favors" one side of the exit since its flows easier there.

Also yes I have bought many things from ebay myself (and get same comments from people here ) and they mostly turn out nice. But the price usually dictates the quality in the long run.

Like others have said to me, thanks for buying and testing that muffler out. Now we will have a member with 1st hand experience.

and your welcome, one of the main reasons i jumped on this was to see if this is something the FX people could use and would like, So i took the plunge and it ended up not being the best thing for me...maybe others wont mind..

is there any negative to the one side biased flow?

I havent noticed anything bad, It does seem to pull a little better now, definatly louder at WOT, its just the whole thing of knowing that its not flowing out both ends right is killing me,

Even when i rev it, more is coming out the passenger side..

I will try to get some clips this weekend..

How much exactly did you have to get the tips extended? Other than tip extension, were any other modifications needed for installation?

Also, I wouldn't worry about the passenger side outflowing the drivers side. The stock muffler does the same thing! Only a true dual exhaust will flow the same out each side. With only one entrance into the muffler, pressure and flow will cause the exhaust to naturally seek the side with the least resistance.
