the kit is made by JT Auto Styling in Rosemead, Ca. Tony the owner has designed them.
If you are over 220lbs, or your are a large guy, you should rethink this. The doors will pull out about 12" and then go up enough for you to slide in. Think of it if someone parked really close to you and you had to squeeze in.
The best part about this kit is that it has lifetime warrany.

no matter what, the wiring harnesses need to be cut & extended even on full bolt on kits..., then, most times if not all, the fenders need to be trimmed inside for clearance...

The Kit is a compete bolt on. They can later be taken off and put back to gether. there is a catch however, The the inside of the Fender has to be cut out for the Hinge to go in an out and for the Shock to be installed.
The wiring harness has a cover. They cut the cover and pull the wires to get extended. they don't acctuall cut them. I have a Flex tube that I have installed over it and wrapped it with tape.
I had the pleasure of taking my FX to JT Auto in Rosemead and have them install it. They owner Tony, has designed and manufactured this kit. The Life time warranty was honored and they charged me $200 to install it. At the end of the day, he would not let me leave with my fx since he felt that the job was not done right. I convinced hi to let me have the car and when I returned with it, he did it right and I am very happy. Due to temprature changes in SoCal, the Shock needs to be adjusted every once in a while. I so far had to take it there twice and they recharged it for me in about 10 min, and they cover it under warranty.
