FX's underrated?

The Problem is that Infiniti is not considered s "Prestige" Brand in Canada. Mercedes/BMW Is the sign that you have made it. Even if you bought a crap 3 series BMW or a A series Merc. But smart consumers Like us in this forum know that you get better Value for your $$ with Infiniti. Better engine IMHO, less maintenance..(You can get service at Nissan Dealerships) Nicer ride, and better performance..Only you don't get the BMW or Merc Key chain that you can show off to your friends...Oh and you pay an average $15,000 less for Better quality. I just bought my FX50s I paid $16,000 CDN for my 2009 FX50s with 153k kms. It still runs like new. sure, there were a few issues with it when i bought it (Stupid Airbag sensor on the passenger seat belt buckle) But other wise it runs very nice. And for the price? Lol you can't get anything better in the same class for that price.

Just bought my 3rd FX (QX70 now).
First one was a 2011 FX35 - totalled
Second was a 2013 FX37 - totalled
Third one I just got is a 2015 QX70.

22k miles, dealer priced it at 34k, ended up paying 30k out the door. A 2015 with 22k miles is basically brand new in my eyes.. I've never bought 3 same cars but I'm in love with it. A couple of mods (decat, CBE, intake) without tune had me beating Challenger/Charger RTs, BMW 335s, M3s, tuned 370z's, etc. Made at least 5k on racing bets because EVERYONE underestimates this car because it's an "SUV" but they don't know it's a VQ37VHR and it's just a 370z with an SUV shell. I don't regret buying the 3rd one at all

I bought mine pre-owned, but in mint condition. It's because of the great reviews of the FX I found on the forums that I decided to get the FX. I take the reviews from non forums with a grain of salt. The forums are more reliable.

I've enjoyed my FX45 for many years and would buy another in a heartbeat if they were still being made. I wish Infiniti kept the V8 model around a bit longer, I've been planning to buy a QX70 V8, but the newest QX70 V8 now is already 4-5 years old. I have no problem driving a car for 10+ years, but I don't want to buy one that someone else has been abusing for more than a couple of years.

These are a very unique vehicle in a sea of similar looking (but not performing) SUVs. There are very few SUVs that combine the fun and comfort of the FX, and even fewer that are as reliable.

I bought a 2014 QX70 5.0 about 6 months ago with a little over 43k on it. The car was very well taken care of and I was really surprised how well the car still drives and everything feels tight with no rattles or squeaks. The car essentially drives as good as new, but I totally get your point of view.
The downside is you will buying a car with dated technology and dated interior. If you are in the market for a reliable V8 then I would suggest the Lexus GSF. You can probably score a 2015 model for under $40k. It's no SUV but u are getting performance and reliability which is a very rare combination .
