FX50S exhaust

man i removed the muffler to put on my trailer hich. took it for a drive with it off and it sounds good. It is still quiter then my G37S with FI's HFC's and full cat back. I am going to my local shop to get it straight piped from the cats back just as soon as I get back from working in russia.
 
Hey guys, seems like I might be doing the same thing as Mr. Cheechitup88 on the exhaust. I heard it the other day in front of the coffee shop (hint hint=sup Cheechitup!!), and sounds quite ferocious !!
 
hey Cheech where did you do the resonator delete? I think my 50 is way too quiet! Also, do you know if it changes anything to the warranty?
 
^^^so far looks like no not really. as for exhaust Tony at fast intentions says he should start work on a CBE for the FX50 this december. H&R haslowering springs out and after i e-mailed GTspec. they are going to start their R&D in a few weeks. After thet nothing out there that i can fine
 
I have been looking around and deleting the resonator shouldn't be much of an issue. Though I am quite sure it will affect your warranty on the exhaust. That's the only downside.
 
Has anybody installed the H&R springs in the FX50? I was thinking about ordering a set for myself for Christmas lol and I was wondering if anybody could tell me... Does it effect the ride stiffness at all? It already is very bumpy especially with the 21" wheels. And how much does it lower the car? Thanks in advance guys!
 
I ordered mine from Tirerack in the last week of October. They just emailed me a few days ago saying that they will have them in there warehouse available to ship to me on November 23rd. I told them that there is no rush since Winter is coming here fast and I don't want to run them in the snow. Anyways, just an update for you guys
 
Hey guys, I've been doing some research on after market cat back systems for the FX50 and I still haven;t found anything yet. It seems that if I would like to change the cat back, I would probably have to go custom....not really what I want to do. Have any of you heard of any companies making cat backs for the FX50?

I'm weird in that I'd prefer it to be faster and silent. The FX50 is quiet and I've been happy with it. Dyno tests show some improvement with aftermarket exhaust, particularly in horsepower, but it's already a good dual exhaust system.
