FX50 vs. Dodge Challenger

umm that was a really close call for a sec there.. i was like oh sheets the fx is about to smoke the challenger.. bu then it took off..
 
well they have an srt version which is pretty badass.. supercharged V8.. i dont think that was an SRT tho...
 
That can't be the SRT8. SRT8 version is a 6.1 liter with a 1/4 time of approx. 12 sec flat. Sorry to say it would have smoked the FX50.
 
I'm sure someone else noticed, but BOTH cars ran the 1/4 in the 13's. 13.5 for the FX50. That's one FAST SUV. I didn't thing the car was capable of sub 14s 1/4mile times.
 
Video says it was an FX35, and I noticed the non-chromed side vents. So it was an FX35? Or is it possible to get an FX50 with non chrome side vents? It's not an option on the Infiniti site...
 
Has to be an fx50 at 13.5. The fx37 is not even in the US.. and that drag strip is in New Jersey.
 
Looks like the initial power of the 50 gets it in the lead on both cases but drag prevents it from beating the cars. Needs some lowering I guess :smile:
