FX45 owners, need your help Please

Was hoping you guys could take a peak under your hoods for me. The MAF sensor was changed at some point. My 2003 looks like this...

Below is the newer one (I'm thinking 2005-2008 with the minor body change)

I greatly appreciate your input in advance, as I'm getting ready to put my intake into production shortly here. If you could please let me know your model year and if you have an even (1st pic) or offset (2nd pic) MAF bolt in. THANKS GUYS!
 
On blackberry so will reply better later but even 06-08 changed location of intake slightly. 03 to certain production year 05 have a circle maf where the later ones have a rectangle.

Did you get what you were looking for? Basically you need three kits I believe:

03-04 = rectangle MAF with intake layout A
05 = circle MAF with intake layout A
06-08 = circle MAF with intake layout B

What was Infiniti thinking! =)

I am sure you can sell a handful, but not enough to generate a material profit. It would be more for the greater good of the FX community:rofl:

2005's are the oddball that's what I was trying to figure out. Thanks Chedman!
I created the Intake FOR the greater good of the FX community, 45 owner's deserve something better and I'm gonna give it to them. Not wanting to make huge bucks on this. If the cheddar was there someone else would have done it. The VK is rare and a mean beast. I wanted to contribute something to unique for this forum to be proud of.

You are a rockstar. Can't wait to see it -- you're such a tease and I missed you at the meet.
 
Would be nice to have an intake that looks stock (with a carbon fiber intake box, jk), sounds nice, and have easy removal of the filter. :P
 
UM YES, please check the Vendor threads titled Manta Ray CAI, 06'+ are in going to be in the testing phases very soon, 03'-05' are ready and available to ship next week.
