FX45 on the "tail of the dragon"

After 9 years of taking my Z and my G to the tail of the dragon, this year I will be in my FX45 .I will officially earn my "Dragon" sticker and partake in a little less spirited driving in the FX and some excellent atmosphere amongst real car enthusiast (mostly Nissan nuts like myself). Any other FX's planning on making the trip to Zdayz-X this year in Fontana for the infamous 11 mile stretch of roadway with 318 curves?

I have done it on numerous bikes but never in my car, careful though as you know there are as many cops as there are riders/drivers on that 11 mile thrill ride! The speed limit is very low and a ticket can get very, very expensive if not cost you a night in the local jail. The cops have figured out there is alllot of money to be had there and are getting more and more creative. The last time I was there they were hiding on the bluffs and shooting people out of the woods and pulling them over at the end!

They finally banned commercial trucks on that route, it was getting really bad with some of the tractor trailers trying to navigate that road.

That's good to hear. I remember it was getting to be a problem. Wasn't there a site that tracked it and had a bunch of pictures of 18 wheelers crossing the yellow line? I remember Swift trucks were often shown.

Yeah, I think that's what had local lawmakers do the ban/limit truck size. Not only were they over the double yellow, but they were also getting hung up off the apron and snarling traffic.
