Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and new to owning Infiniti's. I have just bought myself a bone stock 2004 FX45 and was wondering if anyone could tell me what a good mod to add HP and torque is and what intake set up I should go for if I were to get one. I've done some searches on here and I noticed that most people like the Weapon R intake, does this particular intake require the car's air/fuel mixture to be tuned or changed in any way or does it not make a stock FX45 run lean or anything of the sort? Any info would be well appreciated and thanks for your time.

no retune needed. you can do a ECU reset.

I think the LMS one made it run lean.....but I will let DR.2K/Chedman/Trainerken answer that one.

I have an extra LMS Cold Air Intake if you want it for $100.00
You will only need to buy the Kragen Air Filter and some clamps and your good to go if you want it.

In regards to the intake, I have tried them all and combination's to except for the JWT as I don't think it is still available or is it? I'm not too sure. The weapon-R uses the stock MAF housing so the A/F seems to be the same but the short ram LMS intake does lean out the A/F ration but a Technosquare ecu tune will adjust for that and make it good to go. But the best mod for the 45 and greatest bang for the the buck IMO would be the TS ecu reflash.
