Hi Guys,

My idler pulley is toast. 1 of the 2 bearings seized. I've got it out and i'll looking for a replacement.

Anyone know the correct part number for a FX45 idler pulley?

I saw a posting saying that the 11927AL500-1420591-66405 was incorrect and it's for the FX35, but all the Infiniti websites are still showing 11927AL500 as the part number.

I managed to dig up 11925AR01B, but it's the entire assembly.

Or has anyone replaced it with and aftermarket part they recommend?

Thanks in advance!

11925-AR01B is the correct number for the Idler pulley assy.
You can buy the pulley 11927-4P101 was the old number it has superseded to 11927-AL500
the service bulletin says you need to change the other parts to make it work, might be better to get the assy.

Service Part No.: 119274P101__
Condition: USE SUBSITUTE PART NUMBER, USE PART NUMBER 11927AL500,______
11928AL500, 11932AL500, 11931AL500, 11929AL500, 089113401A._____________

If you're looking the pulley in the red circle.

thanks for the Gates part number! rockauto and o'reilly are showing different part numbers for the FX45 vs the FX35. but the dimensions of the gates 36336 matches the OEM part i pulled. thanks so much for the help!

Yeah, I went through the whole ordeal when the bearing in mine was completely gone. Went to O'Reilly have them pull both the FX35 and the FX45 pulley from warehouse. The one they listed under the FX35 (Gates 36336) matched perfectly to my old one. 100% sure its the right part for the FX45.

part 36336 ordered. I'll report back after replacement.

FYI for member reference. 2003 FX45, 112K miles when 1 of 2 the idler pulley bearings failed.

Gates part number 36336 is correct. the overall dimensions are the same. There is a slight variation were the bearings seat, i was able to use the existing dust cover. Thanks la_fx35 for the inside scoop on the correct part number.

I'm back looking for the part number for the lower pulley part number. I should have replaced both will I was down there in 2017. LA_FX35 you happen to know the part number for that? rock auto is showing "CONTINENTAL 50025".

no prob. after doing some research i found these part #'s for the "power steering" tensioner pulley.

11955-AR01A is the OEM part w/tensioner. searching that also pulled up part # for Febest 0287-Y50 that show's the pulley bearing only. gates, acdelco, continental, etc is showing similar parts, but w/o the lip on the edge. the febest has the lip.

I'll give the Febest 0287-Y50 a shot and report back.
