FX45 Fumoto

has anybody gotten their fumoto valves to fit on an fx45? im having fitment issues and the manufacturer is said its fits fine...total BS.

Is the fx45 plug recessed? if so you need an adapter.

yes it is SLANTED AND RECESSED which is ridiculous imo....i can barely fit a medium sized torque wrench in there.

i had an email reply from quickvalve which is a fumoto reseller and they said there is no adapter for the F103N fumoto valve...i was hoping to hear from a fellower fx45-er that had success with this valve and can shed some light on this.

qwikvalve does not have an adapter for 12x1.25mm pitch but it may be possible to locate one and guinea pig it. http://www.mcmaster.com/#brass-pipe-swivel-adapters/=28d1fp

I will see if I can locate any, unless they are not made.

last week i did an oil change for the 1st time in my life on all 3 of the family cars, guess some jackass used an impact wrench on my bro's TL at the last oil change (the nut looked like it was welded to the washer) and it took all my strength/leverage to take off the plug....since i used mobil 1 i think can get away w/ once a yr oil changes.

Not able to find the extension, maybe a machine shop could make them...might not be worth it pricewise.

Looks like it would work since it's not as bulky as a fumoto.
