FX45 Forced Induction

When I had my Titan I remember a lot of people not really liking the Stillen SC. The VK56 is very strong. My T did 15.4 at 94mph with a JBA catback and Nismo CAI, spinning bad off the line because I couldn't hook up...not bad for a 5100lb+ truck with driver lol.

Look to titantalk or clubtitan for more info. I preferred clubtitan myself, but used both mainly for info, however titantalk will have more technical info given the subforum IRC VK56...

I know your FX isn't simple. But for simplicity you can do a single turbo. Toomnymods on titantalk is local (to me) and I know he has a single setup. Here it is...

Wow ok.....if i may give you any advice......working on my own projekt right now.....when wanting to do such thing right....technical....estatics.....and performances......you will need to plan quit some time ahead to sort it all out......that is, that's what i'm finding out right now and i think esspecially with a projekt you have planned being all new it wouldn't be done overnight......but hey.....maybe you have just the right people around you to tackle this quick.

Good luck....!!

you got it Ed.

Raymond. The only thing that I am still on the fence on is the transmission.

I don't want to go to a manual transmission and a R34 transmission is hard to come by if I did want to go down that road.

Preliminary numbers put me at 580HP. Even with a beefed up stock tranny I can definitely blow it.

Decisions, Decisions.

What are you doing with the VK45DE out of curiosity? I'm totally dreaming right now but for would be the perfect opportunity for someone to take it off your hands and get it sent to a shop to be stroked and rebuilt.

Lance and I are still working on the cams for the VK45DE from JWT. We're hoping to add 30/30 hp/torque to the wheels...

Apart from it being fast I really don't want to go to a manual.

Way too much traffic in LA and I know I will kill the hell out of the Clutch and will probably have it replaced every 6 months... LOL..

Trust me.

The way you drive....that's being optimistic don't you think? :tongue (2):

Agreed, that VK will need a loving home. When you ship your car out East Bert ship the old motor with it to Chicago town. Once there Ed will stroke it =), change out the pistons, cams..........300WHP of CLEAN trustworthy power.

Course' I'd love to rock a VK56 but that's little out of my league. BUT my girls don't need to go to college right?
