Hey guys, i just got a 2004 fx35 and the first thing i would like to do is add some wheel spacers. I have the stock 20" chrome sport wheels. Any regular issues running spacers? Anyone have any pictures from the rear and front specifically running 20mm-25mm spacers on the stock 20s? Really would love to see those angles. Thanks guys!

I have no issue using wheel spacers at all. Be sure to get the hub centric ones. 25mm front and 20mm rear will have your wheels flush with the fenders.

What Andy said ^^^ Many people here prefer H&R or Ichiba wheel spacers.
I have run both makes with no issues.

Yeah hub centric. I've had 25mm front & rear for close to 5 years now with no problems.

I got the 25mm for the rear and 30mm for the front. I haven't seen the H&R's, but the Ichibas have a crazy weak point... I got Eibach and my fiance got the Ichibas. And after comparing both, the Ichibas will be for sale. He now ordered the Eibach too.

I've used the Ichiba spacers for years with no issues - not sure what, "crazy weak point" there could possibly be? It's a hunk of metal with bolt holes in it. I prefer the spacers with studs in them so that you don't have to replace all the studs in the hub. I have never heard of any problems with any of the brands mentioned in this thread and have seen them all for the last 13 years.

Maybe he's referring to the separate hubcentric ring on the Ichibas? Not really a crazy weak point, more of a design choice. I much prefer bolt on spacers as well since pulling and pressing in wheel studs is burdensome. The only real thing that matters for wheel spacers is that they're flat and the bolts are strong.

Right now I have a 35mm spacer in rear without issues with an effective offset of +0 so it's way further out from the hub than most. This is an eBay bolt on spacer too so from what I've read, my wheels should have fallen off by now after my car exploded. But Jumbo is right, a spacer is a spacer. I've run dozens of spacers since starting to mod cars in the 90's and have noticed zero difference from eBay spacers to H&R, Ichiba, Autozone, even home made ones I made on a waterjet. Never had spacers cause vibrations or anything like that.

20mm H&R spacers on stock 20" w/ eibach springs.

I wish I had 25mm in the back so it was a bit more flush - the springs added sag and camber...
