FX35/QX70 Aero Kit

Guys, could you please tell me, since it's been a while for you already, how long do(roughly estimate) tires last with H&R lowering springs? Also, I saw only one length for QX70 of the H&R set of the springs. Are there only one length of the brand on the market or more?

A reply will be much appreciated!!

I'm late to this thread, looking at the Aero Kit now and I'm seeing more OEM components than I expected. I was expecting Front, Sills, and Rear but I see:
  • Front Protector
  • Side Sill Protector
  • Rear Under Protector
  • Door Under Molding
What's the fourth item - the door under molding?

Lastly, I see similar 3rd party kits on eBay, e.g. Aerokit Nismo Bodykit For Infiniti FX35 FX37 FX50 QX70 FX30D 2008-2017 | eBay, does anyone have experience with these? I'd expect a full paint job is required, but if they don't fit right then it's a straight pass. Thanks!

The OEM aero kit has two pieces for each side, as you have to remove the current lower door molding completely. There is a YouTube video where a guy walks you through what has to be taken off. His channel is called "Atlas Wilder" - It's much more involved but does look better in my opinion. The China kit you referenced is exactly what I have on my car. Can see pics on my insta @la_qx70 - It doesn't require removing anything as it fits over the current OEM. The side skirts are really the only difference. That and it's not painted. The fitment will be close, but honestly it's not 100% perfect but I'd say 95% spot on overall. For me, I chose this route as I wasn't going to paint them and needed to save $$. Hit me up with any more questions.

i was wondering why the replica side skirts were able to retain the chrome strip in the front. thanks for letting us know they go over the stock sides. are you able to provide pics of where the whole kit is lacking in fitment? looks like they now offer the kit in poly? i bought the rear pieces from the ebay guy and at the time it was offered in fiberglass. fitment sucks in the middle section doesnt sit flat against the bumper. but they do fit. for the price not sure if i would do it again. wish i went oem.

Let me start off by saying the kit DOES FIT WELL overall, and one of my issues is probably due to minor fender damage by the previous owner as I can tell it's not aligned with headlights perfectly. BUT on one of the side sills it should be perfectly flush as passenger side is perfect, and the driver's isn't. Looks like it warped slightly, could have happened in transit. For the money, it's worth it. Here are the pics of the two places mentioned.

thanks. did you do the rears?

Yes I did! They fit perfectly, but I will say it took me several tries to get it perfectly flush and to stay in place. Been easier if I had someone else to hold it while I did the drilling and fasteners, but of course I couldn't wait to do that lol.

pics especially the middle section?

OEM looks Much better then dose cheap copies no defects
and your cheap copies are missing the rubber seal around the front side edges next to the fog lights and the back pieces also are missing the rubber seals on the sides
and dose two defects isn't suppose to have double sided 3M tape there
and the sides doesn't look right with out the door seals
