Hello everyone, just thought I poke my head in here and introduce myself. My name is Brent and I live in NE OK. Just bought a 2011 FX35 last week. The wife and I drove down to Dallas in my A6 to visit some friends and I took my title...just in case. This one was on my list of cars to check out. It's really clean inside and out and I'm happy with it, so far.

This is not my first Infiniti. We leased a black '08 FX35 for a few years and really enjoyed it. That thing was absolutely loaded. I can't think of any options it didn't have on it. We turned it in and bought a Jeep Wrangler that my wife still drives. I can't get her out of it. Historically, I'm an Audi nut and I must admit that it feels a little weird driving an Infiniti, since I've been in Audis for the past 11 years and 4 cars. I decided to trade my A6 in because it was starting to feel like a bit of a ticking time bomb with the potential for some high priced repairs on the horizon.

My new FX35 doesn't have near the options on it as our old one, but I think it'll do just fine. Black interior was a must, as well as phone connectivity. I have found the iPod port, but bluetooth audio would be better. I have a Viseeo Tune2Air that I used before, but I can't seem to get the radio to recognize it. I also need to purchase a second key fob. So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I didn't even notice this when I bought the car, but I soon realized it didn't have any roof rack rails. I like the clean lines without them, but we do take a Yakima cargo box with us on road trips. The only rack system I could find that would work on the naked roof was made by Rhino-Rack. I'll be selling my Whispbar Aero rack if anyone is interested.

It has 79k on it. Tires are brand new, but the wheels are only 18". Looking forward, I'll be focusing on maintenance, then maybe some wheels. I usually go for OEM+, but am open. Anyway, here are some pics of her...

Very nice...congrats! Regarding the additional key when I had my EX I had no choice but go to the dealership to get a 2nd one paid like $300Can for them to program it you can always manage to get one from ebay but then again I did not want to worry about compatibility issues!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I ended up buying a fob on eBay, but made sure the FCC ID matched. Also bought a blank key on eBay. Both cost me $43 delivered. Call the dealer yesterday and the Service guy quoted me half an hour's labor ($57), so I made the appointment. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes and for right at $100 for everything. I'll take that any day.
