FX35 Factory Headlights

I haven't even called the dealer yet, but are the factory headlights still available for an 08 FX35? Do the headlights vary depending on the type of package level your vehicle has, or are they all the same?

I have noticed some slight hazing on our passenger side headlight and being in the brutal FL sun, I am sure it will only get worse. I am thinking proactively and wouldnt mind grabbing a new pair now to swap out in the future when that time comes. I am trying to stay away from the cheaper OEM knockoff style lights.

If anyone has dealt with this recently, I would love to hear your feedback.

Yes, it's on the outside. Seems like the normal aging process from excess uv light. Thanks for the links. I have polished headlights on other vehicles in the past. It looks good at first but slowly clouds up over time. I guess I'm just curious if the factory headlights are still available? I know they are somewhat costly, but there is nothing like a new set! I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow.
 
If you are looking for new factory headlight cost, I believe they are $1500 each side from dealers. I have a set of new Sports Headlights (post recalls) in a box, been sitting in a friend garage. I can part from them if the price is right. Pm me if you are interested and I'll get some photos over the weekend.
 
yeah there are people on here whp might have sets, or who can get them way cheaper. 3000 for headlights you could get wheels and coilovers for that.

Sports models had a smoked chrome within the headlights, and base models a bright chrome. I would talk to some of the people on here or start looking at eBay. Either model would work as the only difference is the chrome coating inside.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know. After more research online, I do believe I can find them for a bit cheaper. Smoked chrome is the way to go.
