FX35 Brake Pads

I am somewhat confused as to what pads I need. So many available for my 2008 FX35 Sport.
In the 70's, I was a certified mechanic and back then this choice would have been simple.
Here is what I think I need from Rockauto to replace my rear pads--Front's are OK:

AKEBONO # ACT905 or ACT 888

Anyone with suggestions?

In some cases these are rebranded OEM pads. I would go with this as well. I think same part number as my g sedan too...

I currently have Akebono pads on my 2006 Infiniti FX rear brakes and so far no issues. To me it's either OEM pads or Akebono.

Running Akebono ProAct also front and rear with Centric rotors. Works good.

ACT905 is the rear pad, ACT888 is the front, according to Akebono's online catalog.

So you'd want the 905 for just the rears.

Hey guys...I'm in need of new pads soon. Currently running Hawks HPS and they were great...no issues with stopping or bite but they did give off a lot of dust.
What do you guys recommend? The Akebono Ceramics mentioned above...how are those compared to the Hawks for anyone who has run both??

Akebonos are great. I'm currently running the Hawk Ceramic Street brake pads and very happy with them.

Thx Z...think I might try the Akebonos as they are a little cheaper than the Hawks Ceramics you have. So you are running the Hawks with your Kido BBK?
And do ceramics generally give off less dust than the ferro-carbon types??

Yes, running HAWKS with my Kido's. The original race(I assume) pads were too squeaky and dusty. Very minimal dust with Hawks, actually I think zero dust.
