If interested, I have an '05 AWD with only 35k miles, diamond graphite, NO bad history, excellent shape, $22,600. Located in central PA.

Check the book....

I beleive you'll find very few '05s - '06s with that few of miles. Check KBB or NADA values, you'll see it's well within the range. Best of luck in whatever you decide.

I was just saying, because when my 05 had around that many miles on it i was quoted 20k, about a year and a half ago. I still have the fx and it has 60k now haha

I am going to buy throught dealer from auction. What is fair to offer for 2007-2008 with all the option black/brick with 30-40k miles?

He will nt charge me retail price :-) a little over trade-in. so what to offer him?

A little over trade-in? Go to KBB and look at the trade-in value, then deduct 15-25% to get the true value. And use "good" as the condition, because that is as high as any dealer will consider even on a virtually brand new car.

Used car prices have gone up a lot since you bought yours. Try finding that same deal nowadays. If you do see that price online, good luck finding the car still available. Even on ebay, $22,600 for an 05 with 35k miles is hard to find.

This is actually a pretty reasonable price. Used car prices went up quite a bit recently.

Here is why : dealers know that peopel not shopping for cars,so they boost price up as they still have to pay salaries to sellers and etc. But they do keep cars for long, not fast sale,so they must boost price to cover expenses in long run. But cars on auctions actually gone cheaper ;-) as supply is very high, but demand is not,so it lowered the price.
