After owning your fx's i just wanted to know to all the fx owners out there how your experiences with it has been. Is there anything you would change? would you ever trade it in for something else? anything about the fx you do not like? has it ever let you down, share your thoughts my fellow fx owners :cool: , me personally i love everything about the fx it has the looks and gets the attention it deserves , so far it has not let me down and has been very reliable to me :top:
 
Yeah, I'm really happy with my FX. This is the longest I have ever kept a car. I love this car. Like Robb said, it has the look and grabs a lot of attention. It's made me really like the Infiniti brand. My next car will most def be an Infiniti again.

Everytime I go to the car wash, someone always pays my FX a compliment. It feels pretty good.

Plus I have never belonged to a forum till now. Lots of cool people here.
 
Only owner of my 2005 FX45 and I still love driving it and it still catches my eye after 72k miles. No real issues with reliability except for the minor recalls and TSB's. Not sure if my next vehicle will be an infiniti but I will keep my FX for good long while. Will probably rebuild the motor at some point too or if possible put in the newer 5.0 engine if I can get my hands on one for a good price.
 
No complaints from me about the FX just dumb ass dealers that service them, that have no idea what they are talking about and try to excuse things off they can't or have experience doing when it comes to working on a modded FX. That is another thread....
 
Love the FX. I think Infiniti needs to do a better job at preventing annoying in-cabin sounds caused by vibration or car movement. Maybe the material tolerance is not tight enough?? The bluetooth works like shit, can't turn a/c off when air circulation is on. These are the things that bug me the most, but I sitll love this car.

+1. Number 1 grip and a sad overlook on infiniti's part. Did they correct or change this on the +06 and the new 09 models?????

This too. Tolerable but annoying at times.
 
love my fx 45 wish there were more mods for the 45. I would trade it in for 09 50's which what I am leaning towards. I will wait til next year to get a 09 cheaper and a better deal I don't worry about gas because you have to drive (it not like I am driving a excursion or something mammoth).
 
I agree with the AC thing.
Also get a lot of noise from the Sunroof area.....creaks and stuff.
Dont like that when the ac is off & the vent is off I still get warm air coming thru the vents.
 
I love my FX. I could say that the first time I saw this car, it was different. After driving on my view changed completely. I would only trade for a newer model, if i had too. Don't think i would part with this car unless it dies in my hands. After that i would mount in on my fire place as my trophy.:bigsmile:
 
I love my fx & wouldn't want any other car right now, except maybe a new one:biggrin:

my biggest gripes with it was the cassette deck in the dash, the lower plastic textured trim, no touchscreen, suspension too high, minor stuff like that, but then again, that's what moddings for :4tongue:

things I love about it besides it looks cool is it drives cool, utility with the feel of a sports car, nothing compares.
 
One word, "Perfect" in every way possible. Wouldn't change anything. Aluminum trimming is perfect. Wood would not match it's sportiness. Eye catching car. NOT TRADING IT IN FOR A CAYENNE ANYMORE BECAUSE I BEAT ONE WITH MY FX. bam!
 
First Infiniti. 900 miles. Loving it so far. Looks great. Drives even better. It's definitely a keeper...which for me should be about 10 months.
