FX06 Shifter on FX05

Hi guys,

Recently i purchased a shift console 06 to upgrade the chrome plate and leather boot but the Item that i got from Ebay arrived with the Shifter assembly I currently have an issue with Manual Shift mode when reducing the shift I need to push a lil be hard in order to go from 3 to 2 For example if I move the shift as I should do; It wont decrease the shift.

As I got this part with the console I need to confirm if this part is compatible with the 05 FX.

I need to confirm if the shift lever assy (Transmission Shifter) would fit on my 05' FX. I got the 06 Shift lever assy on a kit with the shift console :P for only 75 USD...
Check Item: 281598272422 on Ebay. This is the part i need to confirm if fit on my car.

Why would you swap the entire assembly? You just need to swap the cover. And if you're having trouble with the shifting, check the boot and slider under there. If you don't get it aligned when installing, the boot can cause resistance to shifts (I've had it happen on my '07) and the plastic sliding guides can jam if not aligned.
 
The problem is with my Current Shifter.
Taking a close look at the item that i just received I think the problem is being caused by a little metal thing that is bent; that thing push back the button to reduce the shift.
Ill let you know tomorrow once i finish the job.

Replaced the shifter console, with the 06' kit.
Fixed the Manual Shift (down Shift) the little Metal Plate was bent reason why I had to push it harder in order to shift down now is working like new :)

Thanks Guys for your Help, I have an Spare Shifter assembly ( the probably wont fit on my car so ill be looking for someone who need it to give it away in my country ( Panama )
