FX Strut Bar

Assuming it attaches the same way the 1st gen does, you can see it would need some bends in there to fit over the engine cover.

The 09 FX mounting structures are the same with the EX. The only problem is with the length. I will compare it tomorrow with my mother's EX.

Make sure they have the same clearance over the engine cover also. Have you found one for the EX?

From the pictures i would say it fit's ok. Also it says it's for the VQ35HR so it should be fine. I will post some pics once i have it.

Ok, so i measured the lenght between the mountings and is the same aprox 100 cm. Also i measured the clearence over the engine. It's about 13 cm on both so i am pretty sure that the strut bar will fit...

Pardon my ignorance, but why would u get this?

By connecting these points the braces distribute the applied forces evenly to increase responsiveness and predictability and in the case of the FX it would increase over steer.

there's a metal pipe that travels right over the driver side strut tower. I don't think most strut bars can fit, unless the mounting supports are hollow and allows the metal pipe to pass through.
