FX Spotted - Didn't give props or nothin'!

What's up guys!
Still very new to the scene and I appreciate all the positive feed back you guys have given me. I will get pics up very soon of the new ride (FX35), just got the car on the 14th:smile:. I was driving yesterday on the 405 N bound freeway near Santa Monica off ramp and got NO love from a fellow FX'r! Sup with that. I was trying to be cool and say whats up but he didn't even acknowledge. That's just wrong man.:thumpdown: Oh well, just thought I would share my little story.

Those that arnt modded just dont give a damn, although I did confront a couple dudes that were checkin out my ride that was parked in fback of their FX yesterday in Bev Hills. I was walking back to the car, & they were looking up and down & all around. They were drivin a non sport, no modz. They were like, oooh & ahhh, so I spent a few moments going over some of the stuff with them. Some people are cool out here, most not :err:
 
I was washing my FX just now and for like the 5th time this same 45 drove by and she never acknowledges me...

but for the record, I LOVE the dark blue (like Jeff's)... sorry I forget what the technical name is.
 
Look, don't get me started on the FXer's that stick the noses up in the air when I wave. But what funny is when a non modders stops to ask what model or what year is it, that's funny. especially when I say 03. Sorry for the rant...

haha. thanks guys. Well i will be modding real soon. I think the tail lights and grille are first, then performance. I am taking my FX in tomorrow to Costa mesa infiniti for warranty suff. The threads are very helpful. i bought my car used so I started reading the threads and I want to get new outside trim because it is fadding and also get a new dash because Im getting the bubbling around the vents. Thanks for the forums I can say its on TBS:biggrin: I was already planning on going because my lighter is not working (dont smoke! just want to plug in the charger for the celly) and my shifter plate is beat up and the plastic has ripped from shifting.

:laugh: going to try to get everything fixed while I have the warranty!
 
you gotta look at it this way... you love your car and others that drive cars like ours... but to some people, a car is just a car and you are some nut on the 405 smiling strangely at them... and theres a lot of nuts on the 405 who like to shoot people.
i only try to make eye contact if i see something that isnt oem on the car because at least then i know they are somewhat into cars
speaking of which... went out to thousand oaks tonite and a guy in a black scooby wagon was totally checking out my fx...

Get used to it man, I already gave up trying to give anyone a waive, thumbs up, or a smile when I see another FX. I'll look for a quick second to see if it's anyone I know and then just blow past them. :biggrin:

Very true, I agree with Ken. I have seen some ladies in FX's on the road or at a light. Then I catch them looking at my FX and they look the other way. lol

I also keep running into this guy with the white FX and I try to look at him to say hello but he just keeps looking forward. I figured he could join us since he lives close by.

Maybe I'll make a sign that say's "Join INFINITISCENE.COM" LOL
 
I agree with Ash. Unless I see a modded FX I don't usually bother. Unless they go out of their way to make some kind of gesture to me. I have had other vehicles stop by me on the road ask about various mods to my FX and give me a thumbs up.
 
if anything, I've had a guy in a modded Z waved at me... well, it wasn't exactly a wave... but one of those "s'up?" kinda gesture... He had a Nismo sticker too... maybe it was mine (Nismo emblem) that did it?
 
Yeah, Im sure once I start with my mods I will get more love. I emailed bluebatmoblie2005 yesterday to get my tails tinted. Do any of you know if he is local in SoCal? Also, what do you think of tinting the fogs blue ice? Im have already ordered the 8K HID's but was wondering if any of you have tinted the fogs and what you think?
