I replaced my rear bumper myself with hand tools in my driveway, it is a lot of work but doable . took me an afternoon you have to becareful of some of the clips and my retainers were rusty .

Hello gentlemen. My problem is not with the removal of the bumper. As we all know, the rear bumper wraps underneath and lays flush with the muffler to increase aerodynamics. This particular flap is held in place by 3 aluminum braces that attach the flap to the inside of the rear bumper. After inspecting my undercarriage I noticed that those braces have broken off, and that flap no longer lays flush with the muffler. On the freeway it sounds as if something is flapping in the wind. I have searched high and low to find those braces with no avail. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction of the proper name for these braces, and where I can buy them. I need them urgently. Thanks guys.

Thanks J, I'll look it up and see what happens.
