FX on the Dyno

For those of you that have had your FX on a dyno, was there anything special that you had to do with the traction control, stability control or awd system?

I'm getting the FX dyno'd in January and was wondering if anyone has had any trouble getting it to cooperate on the dyno.

Thanks in advance.

Nope, they'll just just strap it down and go. If you have AWD make sure its an AWD dyno..... :) also good to have fresh oil and reasonably fresh fluids throughout as it gets run fairly hard. Don't forget to post your results!

Thanks for the input. I've had a my WRX dyno tuned a couple of times but wasn't sure if there was anything special you had to do with the FX.

I'll post results. They won't be anything special as the car only has an intake. I'm doing this more for the sake of curiosity. :)

Its good to have a baseline on any car you will be making performance mods to your ride. I ran mine stock, installed my exhaust system then ran the dyno again to capture the diff. Now that I have the baseline I'll wait until have a variety of work done and hit a full-on UPREV dyno tune to see how it all comes together. Its a shame dynos aren't cheaper but its understandable considering the cost of the machine and the tech time.

Are you doing it at MAC? I've been there for a couple friend's WRX dyno sessions. I'm in Denver and would be interested in maybe doing mine at the same time too... I've only got an intake, but would be nice to do a baseline. Maybe I'll bring my stroked turbo eclipse instead (hehehe)....

I'm doing it at TheBoostCreep in Longmont (Harvey Epstein's shop). Harvey is a really experienced tuner and used to be at Super Rupair in Boulder. He just opened his own shop and is having a dyno-day open house on January 2nd.
