Just wanted to share that at 95,000 miles I thought my fuel door actuator was going out. This may be a one off scenario, but here is what happened to me.
My fuel door wasn't opening so I had to use the manual latch in the trunk. The actuator must be getting weaker or just not functioning. In my case, it was weakening and spraying the latch with WD-40 did the trick.
Now, my driver's side door actuator did the same thing. Tried a little WD-40, but no luck. Had to replace that one.
Figure I share so someone else can try this in case a $5 can of WD-40 can help vs a couple hundred dollar fix at the shop.
