so i just wanted to know, with these recent gas prices how is it affecting your daily lives? do you guys drive less because of it? don't really care for it? any driving styles you changed because of it? any tips for our fx to save gas?

i drive exactly the same, it doesnt maeka difference to me. i;ve always used 91 or 93 oc gas anyway

ye my driving habits are the same, but fuck i never knew how much these things drink gas till recently , i put $20 last night it got me a quarter tank drove it last night, for a bit , and today another $25 , its disgusting lol

i drive less hard since im in the transition of getting more mods and i dont wanna push my car as hard as i did before...


but after an intake/plenum + ECU swap (warranty) my gas mileage went from 15 to 18.1

most breather mods help increase fuel efficiency, but usually people go faster so it kinda cancels each other out.

I'm the same, I just drive until I'm under a quarter tank, then go to the pump and close my eyes until the thing stops.

whats the prices at edmonton right now? here in t.o were paying 103 which isnt so bad , but thats for regular for 94 its like 120

I usually avg around 12.8 with mixed street and fwy driving.

Rob im not in edmonton but im a bit farther....Vancouver and our gas it $1.20 for regular 87 octane.

i dont know if this makes you guys feel bad but my civic got 31MPG (7.5L/100km) on my last tank

I was getting 19.5 after the header install -
Now i'm getting 18.5 after the TS flash.
Mostly street goin to work - but its like a 5 mile drive only.

Right now Reg is 105.4. I fill up with 94 which is 118.4.

I'm originally from Victoria and they are usually 10-15c higher for Reg there, so I feel for you Krayzie.

I am doing a lot more highway driving because of my new job, my average MPG is around 16 now.

As the prices climb, my buying habits have dropped from 93 to 91 to 89 Regular Octane... mpg per $/gallon doesn't justify Premium. Makes me wonder about real long term effect on engine and maintenance.
