Well let's see... a 2003 RWD FX35 with 58k on the odo will fetch you ~$16,000 trade-in.

We all know aftermarket means almost nothing when selling a vehicle, but this is rather extensive. You don't know if something will crap out on you in 5,000 miles either. It's hard to say, but as the most common case proves, parting out will always fetch more money. It's just a pain in the ass considering he has a built motor... he can easily get 4-5k for the TT kit and another 4-5k for the motor, but the labor will be nuts.

Unless you can do a good chunk of the labor the motor part is hard to swap out. Say you sell for 4k, if a shop charges 2500 for R&R you only clear 1500. 1500 is better than none for sure but it's a tough one.

Say TT and built motor swapped that may be a little more worth it, but again the labor needs to make sense for both parties.

It would be interesting to see just how much that goes for. You would have to think that the owner is going to take a beating considering all the work he has into it. I guess that comes with the mod game though. You have to pay to play. I wonder what numbers that FX puts down?

also he had a stillen before and rebuilt his engine, probably a huge loss in $$... I want a JWT kit.
