did my first fill up since i got it from the dealer...and a full tank lasted me 317 miles and a total of 6 days...

Coming from a Honda Accord that had only 3 less gallons in the tank and ran about 330 miles its not as much of a punch to the pocket as i thought it would be.

i only fill to half tank unless im driving for 2 hours+

full tank= more weight= slower= less pickup

but probably anywhere from 1-4 times a week depending where i'm going.....1 or 2 on average

It's nowhere near as significant as you think... besides, there's gas-saving-tips that speculate a tank of gas that's consistently between half full and completely full will give better fuel economy vice between empty and half full due to the extra volume of air in the gas tank for which the gasolina has to evaporate into... essentially losing fuel economy by making a small portion of the gas unusable by the engine.

And yes, I fill up once every 2 months or so. I'm due for a filling in early January

Fill up at least once a week. Average mixed city/hwy driving will yield me around 260 miles on a full tank. Fill up is costing me ~$34 for 92 octane gas.

+1 There is less fuel evaporation with a full tank. Also when you get gas put the nozzle on slower feed setting that way less fuel is recovered by the gas station fuel pump evaporative collection system (this is gas you have paid for and they get back from you by collecting vapors from your fuel tank.) Also it is best to fill up when it is coldest part of day(early in the AM) because fuel condenses in colder temps and you will get slightly more for your money that way.
