Wow, during this video the gas gauge moves noticeably.

I doubt that's a stock 45, and Technosquare can remove the speed limiter with an ECU re-flash.

even if it was a stock 45, a stock one could do it with the gov. removed

what bolt on mods for the 45 could drastically increase the performance... not much. exhaust, intake.... any others? adn those two dont wouldnt make a difference in that top end speed

I don't know what makes you assume that it only has bolt on mods, but even if that's the case I've seen tons of custom turbo kits on all kinds of odd vehicles. Turbocad6's turbo Cadillac springs to mind...

Besides, I'm not saying a stock 45 couldn't do it; Just that its hard for me to believe. The thing weighs +/-2 tons and has +/-310HP in stock form. The laws of physics step in at some point.
 
He's at redline while going that fast. Ask the guy on here who drives on the Autobahn in his 45 how fast he can go.

Not to be overly picky but this is what the guy said, no?
"no its not = Vibrant exhaust +k&n+a speed chip"

Ask him what he means by "speed chip".

Either way I'm surprised.
 
he did say that, and im guessing the speed chip meant, that it takes the limiter off
 
In the guy's defense, when some people say that their car is "chipped" they actually mean that their ecu has been tuned/reflashed. Not that they've installed a cheap eBay chip/resistor.
 
IF you want to put a 06-up front grille on your 03-05 , you will need a dremel or file , two screws and about 15 min. to make it fit - super easy!
 
Hm.. I don't know if anyone has already brought up this fact yet,
But I will just post it. :smile (2):

For the first generation FX (I have 2005), WITHOUT TECH PACKAGE, insert the key into the key hole and turn right once (which unlocks the driver side door just like pressing the unlock button on the fob), and hold it, front windows roll down.
Now, turn left (which locks the doors just like pressing lock button on the fob), and hold it, front windows roll UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
I've never been able to figure out how to close front windows without turning the ignition on HAHA.
It always bothered me 'cause I have to get in the car and turn on the car to close the windows whenever I role down windows and right after decide to not to drive off.
Anyway, if this already been discusses then please ignore lol
