FX 45 front bumper '05 vs '06

So this morning my fiance wakes me up to let me know that one of my neighbors has hit my car and left their proof of a drunken evening on the front bumper of my FX - LAME!

I am going to take it to a body shop I know that does amazing work, but I can tell it will need to be replaced (the whole front bumper). Full replacement is because of the deep scratches in the plastic. I thought the black was separate from the painted portion but it is in fact all one piece.

Therefore I am considering full replacement of the whole front bumper. So, my first question, does anyone know if the 2006 front bumper (with the chrome edging at the lower intake fit) will fit on my 2005 FX45?

Does anyone have a connection for a good price on a 2006 bumper? I don't think any of my neighbors are going to own up to the damage.:embarrassed:

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

FYI: I park in a small narrow alley near the beach where parking is tight and once in a while accidents happen.
 
The 06 bumper will fit the 05 model but then you will have to also get the 06 grill and 06 fog lights to match as these parts are not interchangeable. Model years parts that are interchangeable are 03-05, 06-08 and 09-?

Sorry to hear about your incident and good luck with the repairs. You can look on ebay for bumpers as it does come up from time to time.
