Hey folks. As you can see from my avatar, I have LED interior lights on my dome and puddle lights. My fuse(s) went out and all my interior lights (dash, LEDs, start button, clock) are not turning on. It may be the LEDs that are causing this but others on the forum have the same light with no issues. It may or may not be the issue buts it is a possible factor. I checked the fuse box by my emergency brake pedal and sure enough the "room light" 10a fuse is burnt out. So i picked up some extras from my auto parts store and I replaced one and it burned out right away. I left all of my lights off and even tried to disconnect the battery and after 3-4 tries, nothing. Also, my drivers seat is stuck in place and won't move so i think that the fuse is linked to the driver seat controls. Could it be a electrical shortage? After some time looking on the forums and Google I see nothing. Can anyone chime in? I miss the lights welcoming me into the car and I kind of want to be able to reach the pedals... Thanks.

You probably have a short somewhere or could be bad lights. How long have you had the lights for? have you tried swapping with stock lights to see if the fuses blow?

I would check those light contacts in their housings carefully. The metal contacts might be touching another metal piece to create a short. If all of those look OK, switch the LEDs back to stock bulbs to see. If all the stock bulbs are working, then it has to be one of the LED is faulty. I'm not an electrician, so I can't recommend a better way to test out the LEDs other than trial and error.

i took out all the LEDs and replaced the fuse. it worked. i put them back in one by one and it looks like there is a short in the passenger side dome light. everything else is mint! i will look into it more.
