Furookie intake ?

does anybody havea a furookie intake with a 3.5 filter if so how is it ? And did you have to get the car tuned after wards ?

Pretty much any intakes doesn't effect the tune much. Hold off on your tune until you get all your engine mods in, such as exhaust, plenum.

True , what engine mods you have on your fx and what exhaust you have ?

I don't think any FX has it. That part was so rare even on G's. Intake makes zero power difference so no tune is needed. Furookie is no different than any other intake, it's just prettier.

For a furookie intake it's required and when installing it you need an nwp bigger throttle body for it

Sorry, missed the 3.5" part. You only need the tune because of the larger diameter MAF. The intake is still not going to make meaningful power. Putting a bigger pipe in place does nothing if the engine doesn't need the flow. Same goes for the 75mm throttle body, lots of conflicting dynos and even if you believe the manufacturer, it's around 10whp. So get the intake + TB + tune and you're in the ballpark of $1200 for probably minimal or no gains just better sound and looks.

I think it's a nicely made part but I'd look for the 3" version. That way you get the looks and sound at a lower cost. Unless you spend thousands more on other upgrades, the 3.5" is wasted on the FX.

go Forced induction. Not worth it to nickel and dime with small mods that barely add up to 30hp thousands later. Save up and go FI.
