Fumoto Valve

I think I'd like it if it had a cap or plug on out side of valve as well.I have worked on all kinds of equipment with drain valves and have always had a plug or cap after the valve to protect against valve failure and or oil loss.

good idea and possible with this version

I like this one.It looks like you could run a hose with a plug on the end of it through the skid pan as well.No more pulling skid pan for oil changes!!!!!!!!!!:top::top:

OOOps -Never mind you would still have to pull pan to get to lever.

Just installed my fumoto, had to open and close it a few times for fun. Can't wait for my next oil change.

With this small valve, you still need to remove the plastic belly pan correct? Or is there a way to add a small tube to it?

Yes, unless you want to cut some holes out big enough for your hand. You could purchase this one

if you want to attach a tube.

ok clear thanks.
I have never done an oilchange myself so what is the advantage to have this valve?

I also did this recently. install was a breeze.

I added a magnet to the oil filter also. Since the ones from ebay are like $20 plus dollars, I took apart an old hard drive and used that "super" magnet.

update on the drain valve.

I did my first oil change after I installed the Fumoto drain valve.

I really really like it. some say it takes a long time to drain the oil, but it wasnt bad. It is slower than oem.

Draining the oil is a breeze and made the whole process very easy.

Nice, I haven't done an oil change since installing mine....but making anything easier is a-ok in my book. Now we have to figure a way to remove the under belly plastic faster.
