Fuel line specs?

I have an aux fuel pump in line with my fuel line heading from the solid stainless tubing, to rubber hose, then the hose is cut and goes into the aux fuel pump setup, then goes back to the other side of the cut and back on its normal track to the fuel pressure regulator bracket thing.

My question is how thick this fuel line is... I need to buy 2 barbs to go into this fuel line, and maybe some stainless steel braided hose that's rated to hold fuel w/out corroding.

Basically I need to take out the pump and tie those 2 cut ends back together, but I don't know if it's a 3/8" or 5/16" barb I'd need to fit inside the hose and clamp down...

5/8 barb is huge, my turbo oil return lines to the block are 5/8 lines and I've looked at the fuel lines in the engine bay and 3/8 seems pretty big as well.

To replace the fuel line altogether, it's ~$70 fuel damper, RIGHT. There's 2 fuel dampers, and the right one is the one that includes the fuel line from what appears to be the fuel pressure regulator (damper) and the hard fuel line on the under body.
