Hello all the last 2 fuel ups my car has been leaking a good amount of fuel from driver side. It's not a drip but a steady stream. Any ideas? I'll try and give more info soon

It looks like there is a plate under the rear drivers side under where the back seat is where the fuel is coming from and every time I turn right it leaks more fuel it is fuel

Edit; only leaks when turned on

Then make sure to take left turns on your way to the shop.. Or let her sit until next week.

Rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 on

could be a busted fuel line or small hole in the tank, most likely a fuel line unless something hit the tank.

Wow that's a crazy situation seeing your FX is from 2004 hopefully they take care of it seeing that you might be out of warranty.

Not sure if this is your problem but there is a service recall on the fuel hoses----

2003-2004 INIFNITI G35 COUPE/SEDAN, 2003-2004 INFINITI FX35, 2003-2006 INFINITI FX45; VOLUNTARY RECALL CAMPAIGN FUEL HOSES
Infiniti has determined that some 2003–2004 model year Infiniti G35 sedan/coupe vehicles and 2003-2006 model year Infiniti FX35/45 vehicles may have a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety. There is the possibility that the fuel filler hose may crack and result in fuel leakage from the hose while refueling. If an ignition source is present, a fire could occur. In addition, fuel vapor hoses may crack and cause the malfunction indicator lamp to come on. To prevent this condition from occurring, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to replace the fuel filler and vapor hoses with new ones.

I'm wondering since I bought this car at a major dealership last month and only put 1800 in it if they could be willing to flip the bill considering I live out of state

well dealership just called its a stripped bolt in the fuel tank that was botch from another job, and is going to cost 1800 to get replaced and fixed. Does anyone know if I have any rights as far as the dealership should be liable to pay for this since I'm currently out of state and can not get to the dealership I bought the car from?

Print out the PDF that MTN FX posted and show them what it says. There no reason you should be paying that specially if it's from a previous job. You should be getting in contact with the dealer you bought the FX from and tell them the situation. Depending on the state you bough it from you might be covered maybe under the lemon law. That's BS if they make u pay for it specially if you show them the PDF regarding the fuel hoses.

What did you do that they changed their mind?

I had this whole lengthy post about how I accomplish it then I remembered I signed a NDA so... I was going to create and PR nightmare with the help of family at the tribune which in returned could turn up other owners with Similar experiences with a result that could create a class action lawsuit
