Hey all,
Havent posted often but have been on the board for sometime now. Awesome info is shared here and has helped me many times diagonosing issues. I hope to repay some of the folks on here with something i figured out this evening. For the last month or so everytime i started my 45 the gas gauge needle would shake violently. A couple of times it actually flipped over (facing east at half tank). I would tap the cluster and it would swing back. This evening my battery died so i replaced it and low and behold the gauge no longer shakes on start up...its actually very steady now. Im not sure what and how the two are related but it seems our FXs are very finicky when it comes to voltage and drops or spikes to the voltage. Just thought I would pass this info on as shaky gauge could be an early sign of a battery going dead. Hope this helps somone in the future. Cheers
