Hey guys, trying to change out my damper and mine http://uploads. -cdn.com/20161029/f69362f0a5de6180eb3b26238296679a.jpghttp://uploads. -cdn.com/20161029/f14a6e2b2a66ec0151cbee3c60d32694.jpg came with the fuel line. It seems you have to disconnect the pressurized side which u can't get to. Anyone do this before? There's no threads on it... Thanks

Are you saying the connector on the third picture is not easily accessible? Have you try to get to it from under the car? Squeeze the green tabs and pull up to disconnect the connector.

I finally got it.... I wanted to swap it out in hopes it cured my ticking noise and it didnt. So apparently its a lifter tap. Anyhow, took off the middle skid gaurd and u can see it above the half shaft boot and it will have a orange plastic cover u need to pop off. Also, the there are a couple off tie downs to deal with but no fuel disconnect tool is needed. Just push both blue tabs in, a lil tug and its off. Not a big deal. Just need to jack the car up andget to it from the bottom. Also, when i brought it from napa it had a plug in the connector side the needs to get out.
I do had a extra damper with hose if anyone is in need..... Lol

Hi, I want to replace this fuel damper because I feel the same noise when I touch the fuel damper hose. Do I have to disconnect the fuse for the fuel pump? Or gas tank has to be empty? Do I have to disconnect battery?
I just don’t want gasoline spraying everywhere.
Thanks

It would help to de-pressurize the system but you could just clamp the hose with vice grips just before the damper while you change it.
