Just picked up my very first FX35, it's an '08 with 34k, silver, with standard options. I reviewed a ton of threads on :iS: prior to my purchase, very helpful and inspiring. Looking forward to all the forum has to offer.

If anyone cares to share their top 5 "must do list" that would be great!
 
Welcome aboard!

1) Eibach lowering springs
2) GTSPEC chassis braces
3) Wheels!
4) Big Brake Kit
5) Exhaust upgrades (Invidia, ARK, Varex)

My top 5 mods, in no particular order since it's so hard:

1. SPRTFX interior LED lights - Seriously if you can get some of these do so, never for a moment will you regret them.
2. Rear Wiper delete - The rear wiper sucks, and a quick coat of rain-x eliminates any need for it, even in a city such as raincouver.
3. Lowering - Pick your poison, springs, coils, air ride. Just do something about that wheel gap.
4. GTR wheels -They are common on this site, but in real life you likely won't meet another person with them on an FX. They are popular cause they just look awesome.
5. Sport tailights - If your car doesn't have them, get them. They are just the tits.

5. Plenum Spacer & Intake (or just go nuts & get a Stage 2 or 3 Stillen Supercharger)

I'd say my list would be -

1 - Tint match the fronts
2 - Wheels & Tires
3 - Suspension + bracing
4 - Exhaust + drop-in K&Ns
5 - Turbo? Supercharge? (then tune it)
 
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the input. I have started my search for GTR wheels, hoping to land a good deal, prices seem to be all over the place. Sport taillights, front window tints, and audio upgrades are already in motion...... Exhaust, bracing, big brake/caliper upgrades on the docket.

Most reliable place for a deal on GTR's is NAGTROC. Everywhere else is a crapshoot, you can sometimes find deals, and then you get the people posting them up for like $2500+ thinking they are made of solid gold.

A staggered set of 4 in 8/10 condition or better is worth anywhere from $1200-$2000, and that is based on location. Somewhere like SOCAL or Miami, they will go cheaper, whereas elsewhere they will be closer to the upper end of that scale.
