Frozen dash ??

This morning when i took out the truck i wasn't able to change anything on the stereo or with the climate settings. So i just turned it off and turned it back on it was fine. But later on in the day after work it did the same thing again but this time i waited and it started to work fine after 5-7 mins. Has anybody had this problem in the past? HELP!!
 
Never heard this one before. You should take it to the dealer to have it checked out.

Anything else not works beside the stero and climate controls? headlights? interior lights?
 
everything else works fine its just the stereo controls and climate control. The cd in the deck was playing i could change the volume but i couldnt skip or change anything else on it.
 
a few times had a problem where the infiniti logo would not go away and the screen would not come up. My Wife's QX56 also had a wiered issue but it truned out that the Nav DVD had ejected.
 
It sounds like a problem many G35 drivers have with their defective AC and radio circuit board. There is a tsb issued for several model years of G35 for symptoms like that. I sure hope our FX's don't start developing this relatively common G issue.

....forget calling the dealer....you need to call a priest.....time for an exorcism!

If your warranty hasn't expired the dealer will fix it regardless of the G situation. You should be getting a new circuit board.
 
Just a follow up on the "frozen dash" the dealer checked it out and found nothing wrong with it. They said they checked all the circuits and found nothing wrong. I guess that it then? everything should be ok i guess....
