front suspension sound

hi guys. I got a situation with my fx 45 2006. I bought it like 4 months ago and it came with a front end sound so I decide to replace the sway bar links and when I take them out they was very bad so I put a new ones so at that time the sound that it was making stop for at least one week but after that week it's start with the sound again. I said my self that it can't be the links because their new so here is my question..... it's possible I got the replace the shocks or struts ? maybe their making that sound ? the weird part is that when the car is park for hours and then I drive it I hear the sound but after driving it for maybe 10 to 15 minute the sound stop. it's got my crazy really is. I want to may sure what's the problem is before do anything. if anybody with the same situation or similar please help.

Can you describe the sound a bit more: metallic, banging, repeating, change with speed, etc... This will help our members diagnose the issue.

it's sound like something is loose. I replace the sway bar links already and the sound stop for around on week but after that the sound came back. it's weird because when I park the car for hours and then come back to drive it the sound come back for at least 10 to 15 minutes and then stop. I'm thinking that problably the shocks discharge when the car is park but when driving they built some pressure and then stop making the sound.

Tough case considering the amount of info. The sound description is far from adequate and could be anything.

You need to perform more investigation on your own, I would jack both front wheels, and check the suspension components part by part (specially the wheels) for looseness, play, wear and tear. Check for unwanted physical contact between components that could generate such sound, check also your wheel allignment.

I have the same noise on my 05 FX35. It only makes noise for me when going over pot holes or bumps. It honestly sounds like something is just not bolted down tight enough.

sway bar end links might be worn or just loose. Go down under the car and try to wiggle if it clunks. Tighten the two bolts

Had a strange squeak-chirp over minor road issuues, was worst over a brick road by my house. Took it to the dealer but they said they couldn't replicate it. Tracked it down by lightly tapping with the bottom of my fist across the fender, headlight, bumper junction. Turns out the bracket that clamps the bumper to the fender was loose. Upon removal of the fender liner and further investigation, the bracket was also missing one of the two tops where the nut would screw on. Checked the other side, same deal but that side made zero noise. Losened both brackets up and smothered a good amount of white lithium grease between the panels and re-tightened. Hasn't made a peep in the last 4 months since. I was trying to think how it happened then it suddenly all made sense. Before the noise started, I had an alignment done at the same Infiniti dealer where they offered to replace both my headlights and tail lights due to the recall while it was there. The front bumper needs to come off to get the headlights out. Bolt must have been seized and twisted right off on the brackets prob from corrosion and age. But instead of replacing a part they broke they just slapped it back together half ass and said nothing. I also found that they broke the locking tab off the headlight connection harness on the driver's side. What a joke right? Never went back needless to say. Not sure if this might be related to the sound your hearing but I swore it was a suspension issue at first as well. Replaced both tie rods that did not remedy before I figured it out.

If the sway bar links are worn they make like a knocking sound, i had that some time ago an changed them out.
I still have some squeaking noise every now and then when driving over a bumpy road, don't know if that sounds similar to your problem?
+70K miles so maybe it's time to change struts as well..
