front storgae box stuck

Hi my front storage box ( under clock) is stuck. wont pop open. anyone know a way to open it up and fix it?

would it be covered under warranty??

It must be. I don't know what year the traditional "ash tray" was phased out.

I thought the 08 still had one? I hat is stuck he may need to remove the center console cover to get it open again.

It might be under warranty if your still under the milage that is covered under warranty

Try to lightly pry it open. It opens up from the top forward (like a cooking oven). Normally you push on it and the latch opens. It has the soft (slow) closing/open feature so the the grease might have dried up or something. If that doesn't work don't push it because you will break it. The aluminum/wood cover will have to come off to get it from behind. Hope that helps

Yea it's the ashtray one. Tried prying it alittle and pushing
In. Nothing. Stuck. Seems
To be stuck on the left bottom

i forced it opedn. it was a lighter stuck.

This happened to me some time back lose changes I just pull my center console. Them remove the what was jamming it
