Front Seat Swap 1ga to 1gb

I've been looking at re-upholstering my front drivers seat and the cost is coming back high enough that I can purchase a pair of used seats for about the same price.

Can you put seats from an 06-08 model into an 05 or older model without much hassle?
 
No I didn't swap seats. I swap the interior of two FXes. They both 03 & 04, so the seats are identical. You may run into some road block as the 06-08 seat controls are on the door instead of the seat.
 
Has anyone swapped out a 2012 infiniti fx35 for 2017 QX70s seats? Trying to see what type of issues I would run into.my old seats n
Squeak and need to just get swapped out.

I did the reverse for the interior and didnt do the seats but they were identical. Only difference I saw was the airbag connectors might be different as thats the only thing changed between models.
