Front lower spoiler

If you're going to that amount of work, you might as well expand your horizons and see if there's a G35 lip you like. Roughly the same dimensions, probably a lot cheaper (you can get a replica) and since you're cutting it up anyways, you don't need OEM quality. I think that's how Rookie's bumper started out anyways, they made a G35 one and then he had custom one made for his FX then a mold.

I talked to a body guy yesterday. He said he could defiantly make the gen2 lip fit. Said he could cut it, fit it, make it perfect. He said it would be like 500-600 bucks.
While I want to do it,
1. its kinda pricey.
2. it would be to be a custom thing, not like we could easily replicate this..

Do you guys think its worth it?

One of the reasons 1gen lip would be a tricky piece to mount/develop is due to the bumpers bottom angled design, which doesn't give a solid way to mount it and wouldn't create that clean "lower/dropped" look like the 2nd gen one. Even though there is a lip kit developed by a Russian company, it just makes the front bumper look heavy and odd IMO.

Here is a pic of it:

Looks worse than the 2nd gen tack on bumper piece. At least with this one you'd be happy when it falls off.

Not that the 2nd gen one looks bad, but it's not blatant that it's an add-on piece as opposed to a full bumper.

Lol Stu!! "Happy when it falls off."
This one is one of 3 different lips they came up with but each is worst than the other. One almost looks like a snow plow.

Last one is actually a bumper but looks like wether a lip was based off of it or it was molded to a bumper.
