front grill removal and installation

The first thing is removing 4 rivet fastener that on the top of the grill.


The remove 4 lock fastener with a flat head screwdriver keep in mind just 1/2 a turn with the screwdriver the fastener are located one at each corner of the grill.


Installation is the reversal of the removal processes. This is what the end look like. Tell me what you think.

Is that the badgeless grill they sell on Amazon? If so, how's the fit. I've considered getting one when I get a rookie bumper since the grill needs to be swapped on 06+ to fit.

It fits great. Mine is 2 years old now. The molds were actually made from the original Rookie badgerless grill as far as I know.

I had one in my house for awhile and sold it cause I decided against putting it on, I can testify to the fact that it looked really good. Quality of the piece was impressive since it wasnt OEM.

My "Rookie's" bumper don't need 06+. Well, unless there is a newer version of "Rookie's" bumper. I have had one on my 35 and it fits just like the OEM one.

No, I have an '07 and so my grill has to be swapped to an '03-05.
